What is the REAL difference between raw YELLOW Shea Butter and IVORY Shea Butter?

This is a major controversy with many myths, and we will break this down the easiest way we can for you as experts in Shea Butter.  Both Yellow & Ivory are excellent. They both posses monolithic healing powers. Our Yellow & Ivory Shea Butter is unrefined and organic made by women in Ghana.

Yellow Shea Butter

1. Boiled for a shorter period of time in the formulation process.
2. Harder, therefore takes more time to absorb into the skin.
3. A root from the Borututu tree is integrated in the milling process, and gives it an effulgent yellow color.
4. Evens out skin tone and produces a more even, bronze tan look in more white-complected users.
5. Has a strong, more distinct, burnt nutty smell.

Ivory Shea Butter

1. Boiled for a longer period of time mellowing out color to more milder light.
2. Lighter - absorbing into the skin faster with extra fluff.
3. Does not change color of skin.
4. Has a more pleasant nutty smell.
5. Ivory Shea butter is traditionally beige or lighter in color.  Pure white Shea butter is chemically altered, aka REFINED.
